The first feature is possible using javascript. Many sites display date and
time using javascrit. So, a good morning or a good afternoon message may
also be possible. But it depends on the system date and time of the user.
For the second item you will perhaps need some little counter programme and
a bit of CGI script. You will have to contact your domain administrator or
provider for permission. Some providers have these in-built facilities.
