Hello Does anyone here know of someone who may be willing to write examination papers for a visually impaired law student based in Calcutta? The person concerned is a first year student at the Hazra Law School and needs someone who is at least a year junior. He is also willing to pay for the service rendered. The exams start in the last week of July or in the first week of August. Alternatively, he has been trying to persuade the University authorities to allow the use of a computer. He says that it seems they are not yet mentally prepared to let him do so. Calcutta University is regarded as one of the premiere educational institutions in the country but has rules and norms which are centuries old. Experiences from the past suggest that it is pretty difficult to convince the authorities to make even the slightest of allowances. How does one go about it in such circumstances? I shall be waiting for responses.
