Hello Ranjana, I made slight mistake in drafting. My problem arises only
after pressing alt key and then letter u. and this is evident from the later
portion of my mail.

alt + u will not take you to page set up dialog box.
First press alt +f then press u.

Subject: [AI] JAWS problem with page set up
Dear scholars, I am facing a problem with JAWS while using page set up
dialogue. when I go to page set up by pressing alt + u, JAWS simply
announces the default value and says type the vallue or choose the value
by using the arrow keys. But when I press the arrow keys, JAWS does not
announce the next value, therefore, I cannot choose the desired margin.
please advice how to make JAWS announce the next value.
