India Open Chess Tournament for the blind Coimbatore, October 2009

Dear Chess players,
We are glad to inform you that you have been invited to take part in All India
Open Chess tournament for the blind, which will be held at Coimbatore from 24th
October to 28th October 2009. This tournament is sponsored by Giant Group of
Coimbatore and organised by All India Chess Federation For the blind (AICFB).
We take this opportunity to thank Giant group of Coimbatore for their whole
Hearted support to AICFB and chess for the blind.
VENUE: "GUJARATHI SAMAJ", 662, METTUPALAYAM ROAD, COIMBATORE - 641 002
Nearest railway station: COIMBATORE NORTH AND CIMBATORE JUNCTION
Details of the tournament:
v Lodging & boarding will be provided from 23rd October afternoon to 29th
October afternoon.
v ΒΌ second class train fare will be reimburse to the players on producing
original tickets.
v Total prise money of the tournament is Rs 40,000
v Pick-up and drop will be provided from Coimbatore North Junction railway
station provided players confirm their participation and inform their travel
plan before 15th September 2009.
v All players have to bring their own equipment for writing the game. Writing
of game is compulsory.
v Entertainment program will be arranged for the participants, interested
participants are requested to prepare an item to perform in this program.
v Tournament will be played on Swiss league basis according to FIDE & IBCA
rules.
v Final function will be on 28th October in evening, attendance is compulsory.
v All the players have to strictly follow the AICFB rules any miss conduct
will not be tolerated.

2009.
