Hi
The point about segmentalization is well taken. But again, why do we
tend to attach value connotations to diversity. And seeking inclusion
on whose terms? I appretiate the utility of exchange and dialogue, but
is it wise to give up our sense of ourselves in all this? My point is
only this: efforts to carve out separate spheres for particular groups
may not be discouraged.
About the issue of being denied admission to other educational
institutions: Well the law is there to take care of such a scenario.
I'm not advocating a strict compartmentalization of society. If people
deny admission only on grounds of disability, we will always have the
recourse to law.
Chears,
Moiz.
