Here are the instructions for disabling Flash in Internet Explorer version number eight. These have worked for me and I cannot provide any more input on them. Please execute the below instructions after launching Internet Explorer version 8. 1) Press ALT+T,A and that should launch the Manage Add-ons dialog box.
2) You should be able to tab and arrow to the correct item and JAWS should read off "Shockwave Flash Object, Adobe Systems Incorporated" 3) Press TAB once and you should here a link saying "More information" recited to you. 4) Press the space bar once and the "More information" dialog box will launch. 5) Tab until you hear the "Remove On All sites" button, press space bar to confirm that choice and then press tab until you hear the "Close" button recited to you. 6) Press space bar and that should close the "More Information" dialog bringing you back to the "Manage Add Ons" dialog. 7) Press tab until you hear the close button again, press space to confirm that and that brings you back to IE itself. 8) Now you're ready to allow Flash to load on a site-by-site basis. When you navigate to a Web site containing a Flash object or similar ActiveX control, you will be notified through the Information bar that the control wants to run. When you select and confirm on this Information bar notification, a context menu is presented to you.
