The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) will conduct a Common Admission Test (CAT) from November 28 to December 7 for the following programmes: . Postgraduate programme in management conducted at all the seven IIMs at Kozhikode, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, Indore, Lucknow and Shillong. IIM Ahmedabad and Lucknow also conduct a postgraduate programme in agri-business management. . Fellow programme in management (FPM), which is equivalent to Ph.D., is conducted at IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Indore, Kozhikode and Lucknow. Separate admission notification will be published for the programme. This year onwards, IIM CAT will be conducted online. Bachelor's degree holders with at least 50 per cent marks are eligible to apply for IIM CAT 2009. The online registration can be done at www.catiim.in. The online CAT centres will include Kochi, Kozhikode, Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Indore, Lucknow, Nagpur, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. The CAT score will be published by January 22, 2010, and will be available on www.catiim.in. Forestry management The Indian Institute of Forest Management under the Government of India has invited applications for admission to the following programmes: . Postgraduate diploma in forestry management: Admission to this two-year fulltime residential programme is through the CAT entrance test. Shortlisted candidates will be called for a group discussion and personal interview. The programme is approved by the AICTE. . Fellow programme in management: The course is an AICTE-approved doctoral programme and admission is open to meritorious postgraduates. The course is designed to develop and equip students for career opportunities in management education and research. Selection to this programme is based on the CAT score of 2008 and 2009. IIM-A call The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, has invited applications for admission to its doctoral fellow programme in management in the disciplines of agriculture, business policy, economics, finance and accounting, computer and information system, marketing, organisation behaviour, personnel and industrial relations, production and quantitative methods and public systems. Those who have a Master's degree in any discipline with at least 55 per cent marks or professional graduates with 60 per cent marks are eligible. MBA programme The Indian School of Mines University, Dhanbad-826004, has invited applications for admission to two-year fulltime MBA programme. Total seats: 62. Eligibility: A bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50 per cent marks. Applicants will have to appear for CAT. Shortlisted candidates will be called for group discussion and interview.
