Hi

We can't expect all Access India members to become members of Book
Bole and visit that site each and every day and see the pending
requests for books. However members have to take it as a moral duty
to check for the book on sites like Book Bole before writing to the
list. Moreover it would be better if members check for their
requirements even in Access India archives before writing to the list.
For example, recently there have been many requests for study material
for bank exams. Personally, I have written replies to such mails n
number of times, the answer in all those mails being same, contact NAB
Delhi. So, there is a need to write another mail to the list only
when reasonable time has lapsed after the reply to the earlier mail.

So, I don't think request for books should be banned on the list.
However if a person has requested a book, any other member having that
book should upload it to Book Bole and inform the same to the list.
And there shouldn't be any mails in that thread asking that member to
send the same book to their personal mail ID.
