hi all, before all of you become angry about the reason i am forwarding this mail to you, i would like to inform you right at the outset that for a long time now, i have been receiving unsolicitted emails in an astonomical number from bookbol.
while the concept of this community seems to be good & something i have always advocated, at no point in time, have i subscribed to this community & the below mail is a clear violation of my personal space & privacy. the only intention behind sending this mail to accessindia is to alert you all about the auto-subscribe options of such communities & a clear violation of individual privacy. i have a lot more to say with regard to the practices, norms & privacy policy of this site, however, would just say that, any mass mail does not become a genuine intent just by adding a working or most of the times, a non-working unsubscribe link at the bottom of every message, a practice which has become quite common with regard to todays spam messages as well. i may, purely by will, decide to become a part of this community in future but i would urge upon all the administrators to refrain from any such auto-subscribe options to be incorporated in their practices. in the end, i sincerely appologies for having sent this mail across to accessindia yet again but i hope, my intention would be taken in the right spirit. with kind regards, bharat.
