Dear All, I've a demat account with ICICI Direct.com. Its a 3 - in - 1 account with S/B Account, Demat Account and Online trading account. It has another feature which can be of great use to all of us. It offers a CallNTrade Account in which one has to register for the facility and than one can transact over phone. No website required. Its 5 transactions are free in a month. Only drawback is that it is difficult to get the number at peak times and during the time of crisis ()like the reacent Satyam crisis. IPO etc are no problems.
I'm finding it useful. Account opening with ICICI Direct might be a problem as their agents are offen not sufficiently trained. Anyway please check about demat transaction over phone with your DP.
