Well in the United States school teachers need to get board certification and the process varries from state to state since education is a state subject.in order to work at college level, you may have to have phd from an us university and it is very rare to appoint someone with a degree abroad. As for as the school teaching is concern, boy! Who wants to teach us kids? You will find very hard to maintain the class. You should be blessed that you are teachng indian kids. I imagine that it is more difficult for the visually challenged teachers here. Perhaps it would be interesting to hear from a visually challenged teacher here.
