Hello,
I am sorry. Perhaps it remembers the last saved position, not the last read
position. Suppose, you are reading page 40 of a 50 page document. You want
word to remember your last read position. Try this trick. Just enter a
letter, say x and delete it immediately. Then save the document using
ctrl+s. Word will remember the last edit position. When you open the file
next time, use shift+f5. Cursor should move to the last edit position. I
think, it will work.
Best regards,
Amiyo Biswas.

I think, this key combination works only when if switch to the "quick keys
on" mode. So please try it after switching on to this mode by pressing
"Insert + Z". With regards. Hari.

Subject: [AI] placing the curser at the last read position in MS word
Dear friends,
When we open an excel file, the curser is placed at the cell which was
edited at last before closing the file. In the same way, acrobat
reader can open the page which was viewed before closing it the last
time.
Is there any way by which I can make the curser in MS word to move to
the location where I left before closing the file the last time?
This feature can save time and can help us reach to the location from
where we want to continue reading.
Thanks in anticipation,
Regards,
Vishal.
