Hi Kanchan and all,

I can answer question 2.
1. You need to get into an environment where you have an edit cursor. I will
assume that you want to copy a phone number from a sms.

2. Once you have read the sms, forward the sms. Do not hit send. This brings
the sms into an editable state so you have the edit cursor or an insertion
pointer in windows terms.

3. Now, navigate to the first digit of the number.

4. Hit the hash key and start hitting the right arrow key to highlight the
number. You will get a lot of speech feedback.

5. Once you have finished highlighting the number, release the hash key.

6. Now, press the star key for a few seconds. The press has to be a short
one.

7. You will be placed in a menu. Down arrow through the menu until you reach
the "copy" option.

8. Hit the "select" key to activate the option.

9. Cancel out of the message.

10. Navigate to the contact you want to edit or create a fresh contact.

11. When you are in the field where you want to place the number, hit soft
key 1.

12. Navigate to the editing options and then right arrow and choose "paste"
or find the "paste" option in the resulting menu. Activate this option and
the number will be pasted into the field.

The first one is very easy. Just go to the contacts by pressing the select
key. When you get to the desired contact, hit the select key again. Now you
are presented with different fields. Aero down to the phone number that you
want to edit. Now press key 1 to get to options and aero down to edit and
hit the select key. When you hear edit, press key 1 again and aero down to
edit. Under that you have the option to copy or cut the number. Select cut
if you want to move the number to a different field. Now aero down to the
field in which you want to paste the number. Press key 1 and aero down to
the edit option. Now you should see the paste option and hit select on it.
It should be pasted there and hit key 2 to accept changes. Copying phone
number from a message is a bit tricke. I never did this, but you could try
this and just let me know if it worked. When you are in a message, aero down
to the phone number. Now hit key 1 and get to the call option. Hit select
under voice call and disconnect the call before it rings. Now you may be
able to see the number under diled number and you can save to contacts from
there.

Vetri.

i use N82
I would like to know how to copy information
1. From one field to another in the contact list eg. if I want to copy the
number which is in the mobile field and paste it in the home telephone
field.
2. From the message to the contact list. eg. if there is a phone number in
the received message in my in box and paste it in the mobile field of an
existing contact.
When i go into the options menu Iin a message in my inbox I have one choice
of Automatic find On or Automatic Find Off.

Thanks
