I tried pasting text from the clipboard, assuming Webvisum had solved the
captcha but had not displayed a notification. But the text in the clipboard
had not changed.

Anyhow, thanks to a posting on another list found via Google, the solution
was simple: I had to disable the Webvisum ad-on, restart Firefox, and enable
the ad-on again. It works perfectly fine now with Jaws 9.

Geetha

Firefox 3.5 uses a different type of notification mechanism. Webwism might
actually be solving the capcha and putting it in the clipboard but you may
not know it because older versions of screen readers will not recognise the
new alert messages in Firefox.

Subject: [AI] Problem with Webvisum and Firefox 3.5

Hi all,

I have recently been having problems with solving captchas using Webvisum .
On clicking Solve Captcha from the context menu, I am returned to the edit
field where the code needs to be entered, instead of Webvisum solving the
captcha .

Has anyone encountered this problem of late?

Thanks,
Geetha
