I have purchased the Sansa E270 and it is an average device.
The recording is not great but the player seems to be good.
The main drawback is that it does not have an external microphone and so you
have to have the headphones plugged in all the time to listen .
The player claims to play all formats but i found that it does not play even
wav and other formats.
It is most compatible with mp3 and the sound is good.
The greatest disappointment is that the recording for external sounds is
much below par and the recording is done in a very low tone.
Besides it does not have any text reader and is at a disadvantage to the
Angel device.
Please think twice before investing in the Sansa series.
