TCS Maitree Chennai part of TATA Consultancy Services invites applications for the All India Batch of Advanced Computer training initiative for Visually Challenged people, 4th batch. The programme was launched in March 2008 and since then 50 candidates have successfully completed the training. TCS Maitree has opened an Advanced Computer Training Centre for this training at MN Banajee Industrial Home for the Blind at Jogeshwari (W), Mumbai. If any of you have a visually challenged relative or a friend and want him / her to avail the benefits of the training, please write to [email protected] Who is eligible for the training? * A visually challenged person who is a graduate, with basic communication skills and an understanding of JAWS (the screen reader software to work on a computer) can apply for the training.
