Please note that unfortunately there are no specific provisions for VH
in particular. VH are eligible though to sit in the test - given
they're done their senior higher secondary. Now the key issue here is
all about writting that exam. As NIIT is solely a private body, it
entirely depends on your interaction with one of their head offices in
person because the major attraction for students taking NITAT is to
avail discounts for any NIIT courses (usually 25%) apart from
invitations from some IT seminars and interview calls from BPOs. Being
a private body, visiting their main offices and explaining your
situation could be the only solution. I did the same way back in 2004
and they granted me the permission to take scribe along, although I
didn't take the test. I guess the NIIT people won't have any idea
about it as they don't deal and face with the VH situations'.
