I too had a similar problem sometime back. I was advised replacement of its
keyboard. I had got it done. It costs around Rs. 300

Hi friends,
My Nokia 5320 is misbehaving in a lot of ways in last 1 day. Amongst
all, the major problem I'm facing is that the star key is not working
and hence I'm not able to unlock the key pad.
As a result, I can't try anything like formatting, restoring factory
settings, uninstall talks etc. So, can anyone guide me as to any way
in which I can unlock the key pad without using the star key?
I have tried restarting the phone which is not possible without
unlocking the key pad. I have even tried taking out the battery and
then putting it in. But still the same problem persists.
I can't make any outgoing calls and can only receive incoming calls.
