Dear Access Indians, I wanted to request the group members to help out 3 young entrepreneurs who are starting a computer training institute for the blind called MERCI in Madagascar. This is the idea of Karin from Norway who is blind, and wants to ensure that visually impaired in Madagascar get access to computers. She got this idea when she was in India for a 11 month course at IISE Cochin. Currently less than 10 blind persons have access to computer education in Madagascar, and thats what the team at MERCI is trying to change,.
Would request each of you to review the curriculum on http://www.inclusiveplanet.com/en/group/485053 and give them valuable inputs Even those who are not members of Inclusive Planet, can comment on it by choosing the link "Add Comment". They want to ensure that the best possible curriculum is adopted, hence the call for inputs from people across the globe. Moreover, if you have some material which can be used as part of their training, then please feel free to share it on Inclusive Planet.
