At a time when we have not satisfactorily solved the issue of disabled passengers being stopped from boarding aircrafts, this comes as refreshing. Hope the fellow airlines learn from Air India that persons with disability can indeed fly.

The crew was delighted to take extra care of the girls' experience. The pilot, Captain Dhillon bore in mind these passengers and made special announcements during the flight to apprise them about the facts of the flight (in hindi which he was not very comfortable with). And the ground staff were almost on their toes to make it a smooth but memorable experience for all of us (me being one of the escorts in the team). The girls were elated and would probably never forget this life time experience, thanks to Air India Shalini Khanna Hony.
