But it does not read documents properly. Blank lines are not announced, 
continuous reading of the document is not possible. However it is certainly 
good for editing and I even prepared question papers for my classes using the 
program.

I bought QuickOffice, Inc. for 6 quid and it works absolutely fine.  
I've edited files just a few times on the go and used VPN to print  
them off and it worked seamless for me.
