hi, Just try one more thing. Try running your software in compatibility mode. What it means is that Win 7 uses the settings of XP (32 bit) to run that software. This step is useful for some applications which have not been updated for 64 bit machines. This you can do by right clicking on that software and selecting "troubleshoot compatibility" or something alike. Also, you can try uninstalling that software and then reinstalling it using the same step as given above.
If this doesn't work, then there is another work around for the same i.e. by installing XP virtual machine which is an extended feature of Win 7 professional and above, but it is a bit time consuming. I hope that the first step should solve your problem, but if it doesn't then don't worry, we will find some way out.
