Indian Institute of Management Bangalore professor Vasanthi Srinivasan spoke on work life integration and what she felt would be the second "wave" of integration that may take place as the labour market becomes atrition prone. She compared integration of women into the work force and how the same pattern can be seen in integrating persons with disability. Her ideas and suggestions on maintaining work life balance and waiting for the opportunity by up skilling were quite useful. The best thing about the speech is that she stayed connected with the group while addressing issues that affects the mostly first generation visually challenged professionals.
