same amar, it is recommended for jaws 50 and higher. don't worry about
the
versions. freedom scientific and Microsoft, both are trying to get rid
of
their software maintenance agreement, so, they release versions as early
as possible. freedom scientific releases version because more screen
readers have come out in the market and competing jaws. Microsoft is
afraid of its other competitor.

hello amar! as you close any application, your system might focus on
desktop. so, jaws automatically read the desktop item. better if you
use the recommended settings of freedom scientific for jaws,
however,
it is designed for lower version for jaws then 6.0, but, no matter
how
latest is your jaws, i still set my system on recommended settings
of
freedom scientific.
