The Research wing of NAB Centre for Blind Women has been appointed as
Recruitment, Training and Monitoring agency for 100 IT labs being set up by
Ministry of IT, in all parts of India, especially the suburban and rural areas.
To undertake this process, we invite applications from visually impaired and
hearing impaired candidates for 2 years project for following posts:
1. Title Project Coordinator
No. of posts: 1. for VH candidate
Station Delhi
Eligibility Male/ Female
Graduate/ Post graduate
Fluency with written and spoken English
Diploma in Computers and assistive devices
Knowledge of tools and aids used for training of disabiled
candidates
Knowledge of softwares and some basics of hardware
Job requirements:
Shall be responsible for designing the curriculum with experts
Shall coordinate with all coordinators the technical problems of all centres on
daily basis
Shall facilitate the connectivity of all locations and grievance addressal on
day to day basis
Shall be responsible for coordinating and conducting the periodic brainstorming
workshops for the prospective computer trainers for upgradation and resolution
of problems in all zones.
Salary: shall be commensurate with qualifications
2. Title Zonal Coordinator
No. of posts: 2.
for VH candidate (Can be applied for Part time arrangement)
Station Bangalore and Kolkata
Eligibility: Male/ Female
Graduate
Knowledge of local languages and English
Diploma in Computers
Knowledge of assistive tools and aids used for training of
disabled persons
Job requirements: Reporting to the project coordinator
Networking with IT labs in different states and cities in their repective zones
Regular Visits
Supervision of Time Tables
Review of syllabi
Facilitation and ensuring of: periodic
Exam, Certification
Handling Service queries
Ensuring Monthly reports from schools in
their zones
Salary: commensurate with qualifications and skills
3. Title Computer Trainers
No. of posts: 100 for VH and HI candidates
Locations: Various... all over the country
Eligibility: Male/ Female
12th +
Knowledge of 1-2 local regional languages
Diploma in Computers
Knowledge of assistive devices and aids used for training of
disabled persons
Job requirements:
to impart computer training to the disabled students
shall be responsible to prepare monthly progress reports and forward the same
to their respective zonal coordinators periodically.
Salary shall be commensurate with qualifications and skills
