Hi, I don't know about E72. But in my Nokia 5320, there is unlimited voice recording facility. And since E72 is a later model, it may have this facility.
Coming to qwerty key pad, a few of my friends, who don't even use a computer, are using it. So, Rajesh sir, it shouldn't be a problem at all. Moreover, with the amount of mails and messages we can access on mobile, it is a utility.
