Dear Friend benjee sir, i am G. Kannan like to share the posision about the
proffessional tax situation in our state tamilnadu. dear sir in our state
tamilnadu i know shurely we have no need to pay proffessional tax. in my
persnal experience when i was joined in the college at dharmapuri in 1994 my
institute took tax without my Knowledge from my sallary bill. after a month
with the idea of the sincere trusherer' dutyness s the instute repay me
the full amount. so i like to say you that sir please don't pay the
proffessional tax.thanking you.

Profession tax is a state subject & every state has enacted it's own
profession tax act.

for an MNC ,I have been paying this for the past 2 years , if you could

I am availing I T exemption but not professional tax.
