Hi Neelima,
If you are using Gmail, then, you have two options to access your account
when you forget your password.
First: You should update a Secondary email address and
mobile number. When you don't remember your password, then if you click on
"forgot my password" button, a link will be sent to your secondary email
address. By clicking on that link, you will be asked to choose a new
password.
Second: Recently, Gmail started sending a code through
SMS to the Mobile number and by entering that code, you will be redirected
to "Choose new password" page.
To update secondary email address and mobile number, go to "Google
Account Settings" under "settings"
