Posting here a poem in hindi I've written. The poem reflects the
feelings and aspirations of VI community as is clear in the
subjectline. I am posting the roman version first and then the

drishtiheen hoon
kintu nahin laachaar,
aankhen hain
sapno se roshan
man mein hai utsaah apaar,
drishtiheen hoon
kintu nahin laachaar.
kuch cheena hai
kudrat ne to
diya mujhe us se bhi zyaada,
jyoti nahin
netron mein to kya
doordrishti se mujhe navaazaa,
haatho mein hai
fun kee poonji
mutthi mein meri sansaar,
drishtiheen hoon
kintu nahin laachaar.
pankh laga
udtay hain sub par
mujhe hauslon se udnaa hai,
chhahay jo baadhaayen aayen
peechay kabhi nahin mudnaa hai,
armaano ke
pankh lagaa kar
jaanaa seemaao ke paar,
drishtiheen hoon
kintu nahin laachaar.
door abhi hai
mujhsay manzil
maanaa raah andheri hai,
har pug par
hai ek chunauti
nazar bhaagya nay pheri hai,
bhaagya badalna hai
paurush say
sapnaykarnay hain saakaar,
drishtiheen hoon
kintu nahin laachaar.
