Hello All The Access India blog which was especially set up to fascilitate all stake holders and all common man to directly involve themselves in the making of the law on Persons with Disability will soon be closed down.
The committee I understand will no longer take inputs from public. In that case any more inputs would not be taken up. All though I do have credible information, inputs from our blog was taken into consideration, I would like to place on records except for a handful of persons the community has at large lost the opportunity to participate in it. Strictly speaking the discourse on the topic shall continue until it is passed by the parliament, we don't see any use keep it going until then. We had a golden opportunity, and we preffered, it to let go. We will become intelligent only after missing the bus and we shall spare no words to blame the bpersons for any short comings in the new bill. The link shall still function for some more tim and we shall try to utilise the blog for some other purposes.
