After the successful completion of 4 batches, we feel priviledge to announce the launch of fifth batch of the employability enhancement training for Visually Impaired to be conducted by TCS. This quality training which was conducted during November-December 2009 at ADVANCED COMPUTER TRAINING CENTRE FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED (Venture by TATA Consultancy Services & M.N.B. Industrial Home for the Blind ) resulted in placement of most of the trainees of this course. The next batch which is of 30 to 45 days duration will commence in second week of November 2010 & the interviews for selection of the candidates will be conducted at NAB Delhi on 30-10-2010. We wish to emphasize and clarify that this training is only to upgrade skills so that VI become employable & moreover TCS does not guarantee employment after the completion of the training. Applicants must not look at this training as a sure shot way of getting employment in TCS or any other company. There is no such commitment from TCS or NAB Delhi. However, the Endeavour is to enhance the skills of the trainees so that their chance of employment increases significantly. If you are visually impaired and meet the following requirements you can apply for this training. Training will commenced at MNB Home for the Blind, from Second week of November 2010. Boarding and lodging arrangements for the selected candidates will be made at MN Banajee Industrial Home for the Blind at Jogeshwari (W), Mumbai at a very nominal cost (approximately Rs. 1500/-), which shall be born by the candidates. There is no fee being charged for this course. However, there is a security deposit (Rs.1000 / -) which will be refunded after the successful completion of training. The successful candidates would be given certificates from Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. at the end of training.
