I am assuming, you are trying to compare Optelec clear reader and
Zoom text, right? If not, sorry for sending this response.
Optelec clear reader is a closed circuit television(CCTV) and it
enables individuals with low vision to read hand written and hard
printed materials. It is just a television attached with a camera.
However, the recent versions of Optelec readers are highly portable
and they also provide support with speech output. So basically, you
can just scan the materials with your optelec device and it will read
the materials for you right away. On the other hand,Zoom Text is a
software that you can install it in your computer to magnify your
screen. Thank You.
