Subject: [AI] Folder not listed in subdirectory, file is coming in search
results. How to make it appear again?
Dear AI Members,
I am in need of your guidance.
There is one folder called “Diploma Courses in Law”, which was lying down
in my G drive in a sub directory called “PenDriveEducational”. The space
of the drive is 30 gb, and used space is 3 gb approximately.
The above said folder is not appearing in my drive, but if I search, then
I get one file of that folder in the results. Then I am able to go into
that folder by choosing “Open file location” option.
All folder contents are listed there.
The address bar says the location as “G:\PenDriveEducational\Diploma
Courses in Law”. Which is the actual location of that folder. But still I
am not able to see that folder in normal cases or in other words in the
list of the subdirectory.
I am certain that my computer is virus free.
What can be the problem and what is the solution for it?
I will be really grateful if you assist me in this regard.
Regards,
Amar Jain.

Dear Amar,
Try this:
1. Go to control panel.
2. Enter on folder option.
3. View tab.
4. Check show hidden files and folder.
5. Enter on apply.
6. Enter on ok. Done!
I think it will solve your problem. Good luck.
