Hi, A lot depends on what kind of audio it is. You need to record the text at the requisit sampling rate. Remember, Dragon will not know where to punctuate so you will get a running stream of words. I am assuming here that you are not the narator. If you are the narator, then things are different since the user profile is trained to your voice. You can use a digital recorder and convert your own voice to text.
In short, it is possible to convert audio to text using Dragon but a number of conditions need to be met for this process to be affective.
