* * *About Mitra Jyothi* Established in 1990, Mitrajyothi provides education, counseling, training in communication & technology to persons with visual impairment with a view to bring them into mainstream society and lead an independent life. *What is Community Radio?* Community radio is a radio station owned, run and maintained by a community. *Training in All Aspects of Community Radio* This year we have collaborated with Drishti, an NGO with long years of expertise in media and Community Radio and we have made a joint effort for training the visually impaired and persons with other disabilities in all aspects of Community Radio.
