Hi,
long press the key next to call key and option key, select
any of the open applications with up/down arrow and press OK to maximise the
application.

i tried pressing the menu key for long, but it just said "no new
messages in inbox" and my purpose was not solved.
i also tried pressing the menu key once and then i selected options
key, but it did not give the desired option.

if you want to close the particular application, the switch that
application, and select the "exit" from options.
