hi to all access indians

I am planning to do research on the concerns of visually chalenged
women in my M phil.
for that I have been constantly listening and accumilating interviews
conducted by eyeway; thanks to george sir and eyeway team. your
initiative is commendable/. but I don't have any othentic book which
reveals the struggle and achievements of VI women in india.
further let me tell you friends what puzzled me to embark to research
in this area, as far as my knowledge goes, in the capital, which is
considered the best place for education, we don't find any government
hostel for VI women.
and no substantial efforts have been taken by the working NGO's to
pressurise both centre and delhi governments to establish hostel
accomodation for them.
if this is the condition in delhi, then we can speculate what would
be in the rest of country.
and majority of them belong to a modest back ground, so can not afford
college-hostels accomodation. and how many colleges provide hostel
facilities? very few only six to seven colleges.therefore, they are
compelled to live in filthy hostels and in these hostels, they are
living in extreme miserable conditions. where they have to struggle
not only to reach colleges but to live dignified life.
this is one issue but most concerning one!
hence humble request from entire community, specially from working an
active NGO's and influencial community members to speed up the
movement to compell government to establish accomodation for them.
I am seeking contribution for my research if you have any well
researched book so please help me and send it to my e-mail ID.
hope things will change soon!
