Dear members, I’m looking for sighted volunteers who have time and would like to proofread scanned study books. It is an initiative to solve the problem with unaccessible academic material and is available under: http://www.inclusiveplanet.com/en/group/895647 The idea is that everyone who has scanned study books which need to be proofread can send them to the mentioned channel. After being proofread by the volunteers the book will be offered to the libraries for disabled people so that everyone from all over the world can profit from these proofread books provided he fulfils the requirements of the special libraries. In case you know people who would like to participate in making study books accessible for disabled people by proofreading please don’t hesitate to forward this message to them.
