Hi, In MS Word, when jaws speaks differently text written in Roman script, it means Word for some odd reason thought the text is in some other language than English US or English UK.
To correct it, I can suggest it for Office 2003, dont remember if the Menu arrangements are same in Office 2000. Select the text in MS Word, go to Tools menu > Language > Set language. Here use up/down arrows to select English US, press enter. Thats it.
