Hello,

Copy the cell using ctrl+c as usual. Now go to the cell where you want to paste the result. Go to Edit menu, Paste special submenu and activate values. It will transfer the results or values only. You can use this process to copy formats, formulas, values and so on separately.

For removing all formulas and replacing them with the results only on an excel sheet, follow the same procedure. Use ctrl+a to select all cells, then go to Edit menu, Paste special submenu, then value option. All formulas will be replaced by results only.

Hope, it helps.

Subject: [AI] Excel Problem

   Hi,

I have recently started using Excel in my office and not yet become comfortable with it. I need your help in accomplishing the following tasks on the Excel:

1 Suppose there is a calculation in a cell and I have to copy the result only and not the formula. How to do this? Control and c copies even the formula.

2 There is an excel sheet containing several calculations and I have to remove all the formulas from the sheet while retaining the results of the calculations. How to do this?

Hope to get solution for my above mentioned problems.

SN
