You can use outloud synthesizer which is equivalent to Eloquence. I suppose, 
if you are running Kurzweil on your computer, NVDA should automatically 
detect it.

Use of Eloquence with NVDA is legally not permitted. Please read this blog

Also, I use NVDA with e-Speak and the quality is not bad at all. It's just
we the users need to come out of the mindset and not to assume the eloquence
alone is a good synthesizer.
