to scan such type of data, you need a special software. ABBYY fine reader is 
one of the best optical character recognition software, which can recognize 
such difficult text also. and ABBYY fine reader version 9 is the best and 
advance software, which can recognize even a bar code, also detect font 
information, and interesting thing is that it can recognize a hindi text 
also!

please try once a demo version of ABBYY fine reader 9?
