Hi, C5 is not a music edition phone and if compared to some other phones like N73, X2 etc, you would find the volume little low. Firmware update also is not the solution. But, the volume is not that low that one would not enjoy music on this phone and it is very good with headphones. One can use some high quality headphones used with computers as it has got standard audio jack.
