Subject: Questions on the usage of Braille
To: soloman s <[email protected]>

Dear Soloman,

We are trying to establish the correct price points to aim for and what
would be needed from a device. Initially we are trying to meet the ideal
set by the RNIB for a model distributed within the UK. However, our long
term aim is to make it affordable anywhere in the developing world. So
with this in mind;

1. To what extent is Braille currently used within yours and others
educational environments? Do you use styli, Perkins Braillers or Worth
Trust kits, or something else?

2. What would be the ideal device to lead to a wider Braille usage?

3. What price would this have to be sold at for this to be affordable;
firstly to individuals, secondly to institutions?

4. What demand could you foresee for such an ideal device in your area?

5. Finally, how important would you say that Braille is for the well-being
of the blind in general?

Thank you,

Sincerely,

---------
