no, one can not read faster on braille display then the braille pages. as one can not read faster the normal computer screen (display( then a printed page.

If you have a braille display and it works with your laptop then we can experiment when I am next in Delhi. We can try the same judgment and request the same person. It is a thought ... My personal feeling is that a computer and braille display is more complicated than having braille pages spirally bound into a book. It allows easy turn of pages and is very neat.
Maybe this summer I will concentrate and learn braille properly.
