hi friends I read about maltreatment to many of the members daily it is my view that it is high time that we find some concrete solutions .we are citizens of a free country and need to be respected thus .there are many legislations which protects the women, SC ,st against harassments ,exploitation and maltreatment.it is thus suggested that there should be a legislation for the disabled people which protect us and safeguards our rights .the acts of maltreatments must be defined as offence and punishment be provided for it .There must be public officers appointed who shall register and investigate complaints and pronounce punishments .There should be a national commission which shall overview the protection of the human rights of the disabled people.
