This is just a conjucture on my part. It could be due to lack of
memory since older models tent to have memory related problems. I
suggest that you change your message location to memory card rather
than being in phone memory. The option to change it can be found under
settings when you are on messaging. Second, change the curser mode to
letters and see if it fixes the problem. Originally, curser mode is
set to original and the letter mode helps us with better navigation
within messages.
