Hello Sir, Prior to fifth pay commission central government used to pay conveyance allowance to central government disabled employees. But the fifth pay commission recommended transport allowance in place of conveyance allowance. The sixth pay commission also recommended to pay the double the transport allowance to central government employees with disabilities. Now the central government is paying double the transport allowance in place of previous conveyance allowance to its disabled employees.
