Hi friends, there is nothing new or eulogizing about this globe. Only the names in Braille are new. I had seen a textured globe with wires showing longitudes and latitudes at least thirty years back. Those who have studied at BRA might remember the huge globe lying in a classroom. If you go to the bookfair you will find many globes of different sizes which can be made accessible very easily by pasting braille slips. Years back I had seen a puzzle; it was India's map and one had to assemble it by putting together all the states. Actually the thing is that the teachers of special schools do not want to take pains. Anyhow it is an endless discussion. Best
