Posting on behalf of coordinating member of Retina India Hyderabad
Charter, We are conducting rally to bring awareness on visually impaired
independent works and focus on issues where a VI need assistance. This
rally will be on 12th June, 2011 Sunday from 5:00 to 7:30 pm at Necklace
road. The rally starts at Necklace road MMTS and end at I Max theater.
We know that its a short notice but due to unavoidable reasons we have
not posted prior. Please spread a word and participate in the rally.
Objective behind the rally:
1. To show a visually impaired can walk independently on a road with the help
of a cane.
2. Though VI can walk independently on roads we need help while crossing roads
from sited padestrains.
3. We work hard for exams but to write the exam we need a scribe.
4. A visually impaired works on computers independently.
Points to note:
We have recieved police permitions for the rally.
Each visually impaired are requested to come with a sited escort.
